Hopefully we all survived the first quarter with adequate grades. Just three more quarters to go! Try to survive the first year of high school without too many battle scars.
Now on to the disappointments. Is it just me or was the pep rally not very...peppy? I don't know, but it seems like everyone talks about it like it is the most exciting event of the century. It's probably just because all of our classes are shortened. And who wouldn't want that?

Random student: But I want extra homework.

Mrs. Minnicks: .......
Random student: What?
Mrs. Minnicks: Oh you don't even want to know.
