Favorite Songs at the Moment

My favorite songs at the moment consist of wonderful mix of acoustic and indie rock and alternative.

Alex Turner- Best.Singer.Ever. His absolutely amazing and perfect voice combined with this mellow and acoustic feel - it makes magical things. it really does. (plus he's English - which automatically makes him 10x better)
Arctic Monkeys- (did i mention Alex Turner is the lead singer?) Indie Rock is fabulous and gives off a crazy cool vibe.
Vampire Weekend- awesome alternative songs and really random beats and sounds that are just different and bring a whole new level of amazingness to this music. the lyrics too are so splendidly vague it gives a special metaphorical mood to every song
Bright Eyes- I swear i have listened to these songs 100 times each in the last 2 weeks. I have my own playlist that plays them on repeat for hours on end. (this is how i survived late nights doing boring homework) They are perfect and absolutely amazing with this beautiful acoustic simplicity that is just too perfect for words.
Ed Sheeran- takes guitar and his voice and makes something magical. his unique rhythms and beautiful words and imagery (im starting to feel like im back in micolino's class analyzing literature)
Birdy- more acoustic and a change to my guy-singer and guy-band dominated playlists (grace this is unheard of!). I am really enjoying this little smidge of variety which came from the absolutely wonderful Fault in Our Stars movie soundtrack.
