I have realized that blood appears frequently in my life. Whether it's on the TV shows I watch, or on my own person, it always seems to appear. For example, yesterday I had a nosebleed and blood got on my sheets. I was so busy washing those that I didn't notice there was blood on my leg. When I went to put on my shin guards for soccer, there was a big clump of dried blood all matted in with the hair which I had to wash out. The very night before, I had been watching CSI, where there was a lot of blood on the walls of a contaminated building. Because of my great experience with blood, I decided to make a list of the times when I have found blood in strange places.
• on my leg
• on my jacket
• on my lamp
• on the floor
• on my socks
• on my elbow
Please, if you have ever found your blood in a strange place, feel free to comment on it.
P.S. Since only Hannah has answered my previous post I am tempted to say that she won, but will give you guys a bonus few days to come up with something. It better be extra good.
YES!!! I got the paragraphs. Now I figured it out.
ReplyDeleteJust want to mention that Hannah and Grace both have unpublished drafts on there blogger account. I don't know if that is by purpose or not but I just wanted to let you know.
Hannah: Pee Poo Farting and Inch Seals
Grace: Really Big Numbers Bigger Than This Box
First of all, you should let me win.
ReplyDeleteSecond of all, do you really want me to post that draft? Think of the name, "Pee, Poo, Farting, and Inch-seals."
Now, commenting on YOUR post, I once woke up to find that I had a nose bleed in the middle of the night so I got blood on my pillow, bed sheet, and PJ's. It was gross.
This has nothing to do with blood, but it is odd:
ReplyDeleteOnce I was sick (age like 7) and my mom, Gloria, Allison, and I were sleeping on the ground so if I threw-up, it wouldn't be on the bed (or something like that). So I did throw up, but... NONE of it got on me, but it got on everything and everyone else...
I don't get hurt a lot (cough, cough, Rebecca) so...PEANUT BUTTER! Sorry, felt like saying that. When I do get hurt, it's usually not in a strange place.
ReplyDeleteWhich, of course, makes sense... =(*o*)=
ReplyDeleteI have basically the same story as hannah. So I got a bloody nose in the middle of the night, and I remember waking up a few times and reaching for a tissue and blowing my nose, but I had no clue it was blood since the lights were off. Then when I woke up in the morning, my sheets, pillow, pajamas, mattress, and even face was soaked in blood. EWW!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have been sick the past few days, so sorry I didn't post or comment anything earlier.
Luckily, I never had a bloody nose or anything that led to major bleeding. It would be terrifying to see a mass of blood coming from yourself, but I do enjoy giving bandages to other people.
ReplyDeleteAhh, quite true. I remember the good old days in fifth grade when I got a bandage from you about every 3 weeks. ;)
DeleteI almost always have blood IN my body... actually I think it's always there... white blood cells and red blood cells mingling and healing and bringing oxygen. I really like my iron-rich blood.
